Cambridgeshire County Council is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an established high performing team with an outstanding reputation for leading the way in our Adult’s Commissioning Directorate.

What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will:
• Be line managed by the Head of Service –Commercial, Contracts, and Brokerage
• Be part of a creative forward-thinking management team
• Have lead responsibility for all elements of contract management including line managing contracts managers
• Lead on all associated stakeholder relationship management, contract monitoring, and manage delivery
• Have responsibility for identifying, managing, and delivering improvement plans
• Relish the opportunity to join a recognised high functioning, accountable and dynamic team.
About you
The successful candidate will:
• Be a highly motivated, pro-active, and innovative contracts manager with substantial experience of specialist care services such as learning disabilities, within a local government arena
• Have comprehensive commercial experience of managing complex contracts from building and nurturing effective relationships with care providers, health services, and other external strategic partners.
• Have experience of being the single point of access to senior internal stakeholders. This will include developing and reporting on improvement plans, monitoring approaches, financial plans, provider strategies, and quality/safeguarding concerns escalation as appropriate.
• Be able to demonstrate drive and determination to ensure our vision, aims and business objectives are comprehensively delivered on time, to budget, offering value for money services that do not compromise on quality or achievement of identified outcomes.
