What will you be doing?

Cambridgeshire is the fastest growing county in the country, leading to a high level of new Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) and other developments across the area. The role will be responsible for organising and co-ordinating responses to these developments, supporting specialisms within the service area and managing the Asset Management’s development programme through liaison with the Authority’s Consents Team, Strategic Transport Team and others. Proactive and positive engagement with external stakeholders is essential to achieve optimum outcomes.

You will have excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to write comprehensive reports capable of withstanding high levels of scrutiny.

Maximising cost recovery of project work is a central part of the role, helping to both support and expand the service over time.

Cambridgeshire County Council has an ambitious Vision for a greener, fairer and more caring Cambridgeshire. With a keen eye for detail, you will also work with colleagues across Asset Management and other services to contribute to elements of the Vision, including developing its highways records management systems to achieve improvements to services that benefit both the working of the Authority, its carbon footprint and its customers.
