About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Regional Adoption Agency as a full time (37 hour) Business Officer.
The role will include the minuting of meetings, such as Child Appreciation Days, Medical Meetings and possibly Adoption Panels. You will also be collating data and information pertaining to children and adults who are going through the adoption process and dealing with emails in generic mail boxes. You may also be required to carry out other tasks across other teams within the Regional Adoption Agency.
There will be a mixture of office and home working for this role.
Interviews will be held in Huntingdon on 4th December 2023.

What will you be doing?
You will be minuting meetings, such as Child Appreciation Days, Medical Meetings and possibly Adoption Panels. You will also be required to process invoices, collate data and information pertaining to children and adults who are going through the adoption process and dealing with emails in generic mail boxes. You may also be required to carry out other tasks across other teams within the Regional Adoption Agency.
You will be liaising with potential adopters, social workers, external agencies such as medical professionals and other local authorities.
About you
You will be expected to work on your own initiative, keep calm under pressure and work to deadlines. You should have a methodical, concise and flexible approach to tasks and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively. You will need a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft packages (Word and Excel) and be able to use databases.
