Business Officer - Targeted Support Team

About the role

We have a vacancy for a full time Business Officer to join the Cambridge City and South Cambs Business Support team based at Fawcett House in Trumpington.  Primary support will be to the District Targeted Support Team who provide a joined-up and responsive service to children and their families within the area.

We are looking for an experienced, efficient and flexible person to provide high quality administration support. It is an extremely interesting and varied position that will require flexibility and initiative to meet the demands of the role.

Co-ordinating and organising all administrative tasks, undertake daily activities as directed by the service. Provide flexible cover for other services when required.  Adhere to business processes to achieve a quality and consistent service.  Using inhouse data recording systems to update information as and when required. You will need to be able to manage your own workload; to keep calm under pressure and be able to work to tight deadlines. You will support your co-workers with their workload during absence and during busy periods. You should have a methodical and concise approach to tasks and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively whilst being able to multi-task.

Responsibilities include diary management, arranging meetings, minute taking. You will also be required to provide admin support to the District Team. Duties will include typing letters and reports, processing invoices, ordering stationery, photocopying, filing and answering the phone.
