Capital and Funding Manager

About the role

Major investments in infrastructure are being planned and delivered across Cambridgeshire, to achieve our vision of making Cambridgeshire a great place to work and call home. Critical to achieving this vision is the effective management of infrastructure funding, and our wider Capital Programme.

This is an internal (CCC) secondment opportunity, initially for a six month period.

What will you be doing?

As Capital and Funding Manager, your programme management skills will contribute towards driving the implementation of the County Council’s Capital Strategy, managing capital expenditure effectively and overseeing funding from development. Also key to this role is partnership working with developers, local planning authorities and service delivery teams within the County Council.

 

About you

We are looking for a candidate who is confident in dealing with complex programmes and enjoys the challenge of funding infrastructure. Experience in budget management, planning and/or programme management would be beneficial.
