Child and Family Centre Worker

About the role

As a Child and Family Centre worker, you will be leading groups and activities predominantly for families with under-fives during term time and older children outside of normal school hours. You will be working alongside a variety of other professionals ensuring that children get the best start in life they can through play, learning and lots of fun.

What will you be doing?

You will be working as part of a team across Cambridge City at various venues and for a diverse range of activities. Groups, developmental checks, parenting workshops, perinatal support, Library sessions and much more are all included in our offer for families. You will have the opportunity to be fully trained and shadow other practioners and professions during your induction for the role.

About you

We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic, innovative and hardworking people who will be part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team supporting families throughout Cambridge City.

Applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

You must be eligible to work in the UK

Candidates must be willing and able to travel.
