About the role
We currently have two full time vacancies for the role of Child and Family Centre Worker, within Wisbech Child and Family Centres. One vacancy is fixed term maternity cover until October 2023. The other vacancy is fixed term for one year.
The role of Child and Family Centres is to improve outcomes for all children, from birth to age 19, and to reduce inequalities in outcomes between children growing up in disadvantage and the wider population. Child and Family Centres provide a focus for multi-agency teams to deliver integrated services to young children and their families.
We are proud to serve the diverse communities of Cambridgeshire and want our workforce to be reflective of this diversity, which we believe benefits our employees, the organisation and our communities.
For further information or an informal discussion, please contact Laura Tucker on 07717 422823.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 28 February 2023.
What will you be doing?
Child and Family Centre Workers provide support to families to access information, advice and guidance, play, support and learning opportunities in both targeted and universal group settings. Support will be delivered in both Child & Family Centres and outreach venues within the wider community. This may also include supporting crèche provision as and when required, for example when parenting groups are being delivered.
