Cyber Security Apprentice

About the role

Cambridgeshire County Council are looking to hire a Cyber Security Apprentice, within the ITDS service, to participate in delivering next generation ICT technologies for improving customer and business experience.

What will you be doing?

You will be involved in monitoring, detecting, containing and remediating security events within the Councils IT environment as well as assisting with the delivery of the Councils Cyber Security strategy. Alongside practical application of skills, you will be undertaking a formal 18 month Cyber Security Technician  level 3 apprenticeship leading to a British Computer Society (BCS) accreditation upon successful completion.
