About the role

As a Principal Planning Officer, you will have significant development management experience, a strong work ethic and excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be able to deal with a variety of customers, and have a sound background in report writing and presentations, including at Planning Committee. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and technical advice to discharge the Council’s responsibilities with regard to minerals and waste planning applications.
