Family Worker

About the role

We currently have 2 full time (37 hr), permanent vacancies for a Family Worker within the Wisbech Targeted Support Team.  The role will be based at Awdry House, Ramnoth Road, Wisbech.

 

You will use a whole family approach for supporting families, working with them on an individual basis in their homes, and within the community. You will complete Early Help Assessments (EHA’s) and be Lead Professional for the family. As lead professional you will work in partnership with a multi- agency team around the family to provide tailored targeted intervention that enables families achieve positive outcomes. 

 

You will organise, plan and deliver evidence-based group work programmes to support parents/carers with topics such as parenting, childhood development, domestic abuse and healthy relationships. 

 

Where families have vulnerabilities but have limited capacity to change, Family Workers have a role in supporting the management of risks and meeting of need.

Salary will be between £27,344 - £32,020 based on experience.
