About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Finance Officer role within Disabled Children’s Finance Team. The Finance Team supports both internal colleagues and families in the implementing and monitoring of Personal Budgets/Direct Payments, as well as all other financial transactions and monitoring for the Disabled Children’s Service as a whole.
The successful candidate will take a senior role in the team, assisting the Finance Manager and working closely with our Finance Assistants to produce the highest level of customer service.
You will need to be flexible, skilled in prioritising a lot of tasks at the same time and calm under pressure. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must. The ability to work with excel and financial data as well as a variety of databases will be an advantage. We will offer appropriate training and the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team of staff.
The role will be hybrid with a combination of office based working at the Buttsgrove Centre, Huntingdon and home working.
