About the role

Salary for HR Advisor - £32,076 to £36,648 per annum pro rata (starting at £34,834 with full or part CIPD qualification)

Are you keen to develop your experience in a well-regarded and high performing HR Team? 

We have a one year fixed term opportunity for a HR Advisor with the ability to provide pragmatic HR advice offering a range of options that take account of business needs.  The public sector is dealing with an increasingly fast paced and demanding agenda, and as HR Advisor you will support managers to meet this challenge.

Operating as part of our business partnering model you will work with service managers, providing professional advice and challenge on a full range of HR matters including case management and change programmes. 

We are keen to hear from candidates who have been operating in organisations as well established HR Advisors. You will need confident interpersonal skills to be credible and influential with managers, colleagues and trade union representatives.

A comprehensive induction programme will be provided to support the successful candidate to integrate into the team, the wider council and the portfolio area they will support.

Flexible working hours will be considered up to a maximum of 24 hours per week.
