About the role
Are you an enthusiastic team player who is looking for a new challenge within the Council? The Anti-Poverty Hub was designed to respond to the Cost-of-Living crisis and is looking for new team members.
The post holder will be responsible for working alongside a dedicated team helping residents across Cambridgeshire that are struggling as a result of the cost-of-living crisis. This role may include:
- Data processing to enable Household Support Fund awards to be received by applicants.
- Responding to and managing emails.
- Maintaining and improving internal data systems and resources as well as managing our internal SharePoint.
We are looking for someone with a real passion for supporting people and problem solving, you will be joining a fast-paced environment, we see the strength of the hub in the diverse skillsets of the staff that are with us.

What will you be doing?
You will be supporting the work of the Coordination team who are working with residents to distribute awards from the Household Support Fund to fund heating homes and feeding families.
To support this work, you will be working through back-office systems to facilitate the issuing of vouchers, as well as ensuring that systems are up to date. You will also support with certain queries coming to the team via email to help keep the inbox moving efficiently.
You will oversee our shared online area keeping documents and resources up to date.
