Information Management Advisor

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Information Governance service and be the front door for customers requesting support, advice and information from the council under data protection legislation or the Freedom of Information Act. It is important that these requests are recognised, acknowledged and handled appropriately. This makes this role critical to ensuring that the council meets its obligations as well as delivering excellent customer service.

Many people contact the council asking to see their records so that they can understand their relationship with the council or decisions made by the council. This could be records relating to social care or education for example so it is very important that we understand clearly what information is being requested and provide appropriate answers or advice to our customers.

For more information or to chat about this opportunity please contact Ben Stevenson, ben.stevenson@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
