Information Management Analyst

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Information Governance service and specifically in helping to deliver the important service of subject rights. Many people contact the council asking to see their records so that they can understand their relationship with the council and decisions made by the council. This could be records relating to social care or education for example. 

This is a temporary opportunity until 31 March 2024.

What will you be doing?

The role will involve reviewing electronic and paper files which may relate to adult and children's social care matters or education. You should be able to apply your knowledge to ensure that the council provides disclosure in line with legislation and ICO guidance within the statutory timescales. This will involve carefully reviewing records and using software to apply redactions to information which is not disclosable.
