What will you be doing?
Are you an experienced early years practitioner ready to take on a leadership role?
Since the Pre-school came under school leadership in April 2020, lots of exciting changes have taken place. We have established a great focus on continuous provision and pupil led learning in Foundation Stage. The learning environment has undergone significant development to enable this and is a fun place for all children to learn. The Early Years Lead will oversee the Pre-School and we are seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join the team and work collaboratively for a successful day-to-day running of the Pre-School. This exciting role will be supported by a team of dedicated and experienced practitioners who share our TEAM Hemingford culture. The school are committed to developing staff professional development to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
About you
We are seeking candidates who will:-
Have good subject knowledge in the Early Years Curriculum
Have a recognised level 3 Early Years qualification and have at least 2 years experience
Have high expectations of children’s achievement and a commitment to inspiring learners
Want to continue to learn and develop their own practice
Be positive, enthusiastic team players and role models
Be creative and solution focused thinkers
Be open to all, with a sense of humour.
