Prevention and Early Intervention Business Officer

About the role

Our Prevention and Early Intervention (PandEI) Services are hard at work delivering multi-disciplinary, short-term social care interventions to keep adults across Cambridgeshire living independently. 

But our evolving Reablement Service needs even more essential support from our Business Support workforce to keep running smoothly over 7 days a week and we would like to know if you would like to join our new conscientious and passionate team!

We need, permanent Business Officers to answer calls, update our recording systems, coordinate care visits – and more!  

We adopt a hybrid and flexible approach to work so, once trained, you will be able to work some of your days from an appropriate and home environment. Your office base will be determined on appointment, but will include offices in Cambridge, Huntingdon, St Ives, March, and Ely. Successful applicants will be expected to travel across the county to support their colleagues as required.  

The salary for Business Officers starting at Scale 4 (£22,369 - £24,054), with the opportunity for performance-based pay progression.

Interviews will be held face-to-face in one of our office-locations. The closing date is 07/05/2023.

What will you be doing?

Our Business Officers provide essential administrative support across PandEI working as part of dynamic and customer focused teams. No two days are the same in this varied and interesting role!

These roles will form part of a 7-day working rota to include weekend and evening shifts (between 8am and 8pm).Working alongside operational staff and other business support colleagues you will provide excellent administrative support, including answering incoming calls from service users and support staff, scheduling care visits, and updating individual records. You will also be corresponding regularly with other professionals in the health and social care sectors using multiple different methods of communication, (phone, letter, email etc.)

There will be opportunities within our teams to learn new skills, and participate in other business activities such as undertaking procurement exercises, supporting onboarding of new team members and much more!
