Public Health Manager - Learning Disabilities

About the role

Cambridgeshire County Council are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Public Health Manager to support a new programme of work reducing health inequalities for people with learning disabilities.  

This post will be fixed term for one year and 10 months and face to face interviews will be held on Monday, 11th September 2023.

What will you be doing?

This post offers the opportunity to work with health and care partners across the system in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to embed evidence-based practice into the developing Integrated Care System, with the aim of improving health outcomes for people with learning disabilities.

About you

The applicant is expected to have strong analytical and communication skills but previous experience of working in local government is not essential. 

The post is advertised as a full-time role, but candidates who wish to work

less than full-time are also encouraged to apply. Applications from candidates who wish to undertake the role as a secondment will also be considered.
