The Trumpington Federation - Receptionist and Administrator

What will you be doing?

Reception duties

 Welcome and direct visitors and contractors

 Handle telephone, answer phone and email messages, directing as appropriate

 Receive and send post

 Deal with children arriving late and being collected early

 Develop knowledge of Children’s Centre provision, signposting visitors to groups and activities Administrative duties

 Establish and maintain effective filing systems

 Manage and update records in SIMS, (including attendance, dinner money, contact information, pupil census)

 Contact parents when necessary

 Coordinate parents evening appointments

 General reprographic and administrative duties as required by the Senior Leadership Team  Order and distribute school uniform when requested

 Assist with coordination of school collections and fundraising activities

 Assist with arrangements for school trips

 Manage meeting room calendars

 Send school texts and emails Other general duties

 Update notice boards  Update electronic welcome board

 Maintain stocks of leaflets, welcome packs and other information

 Monitor stock and purchase supplies (tea, coffee, milk, sugar; classroom and office consumables)

 Contribute to and circulate the Federation publications

 Contribute to development of the Federation website

About you

Enjoys working with in an office environment

 Has excellent interpersonal skills

 Demonstrates high standard of both spoken and written English

 Has high expectations of children and themselves

 Is flexible, creative and upbeat
