You'll be leading a team delivering a mix of :-
- Ceremonies

- Customer queries and service delivery
The role sits with a wider leadership team working across the service, with a strong focus on a "One Service approach" , bringing ceremonies and appointments together to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for our customers.
No two days ae the same - you'll need to be flexible, responsive and able to support your team through a wide range of situations.
This role includes Saturday working on a rota basis and flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service.

What will you be doing?
What you will be doing
- Leading, supporting and developing your team
- Creating a calm, positive and well-organised working environment
- Making sure day-to-day service delivery runs smoothly
- Supporting both ceremonies and appointments as one service
- Managing performance, wellbeing and workload across the team
- Working collaboratively with other Team Leaders and the wider service
- Responding to changing demands and supporting the team through busy periods
This isn’t a role where you’ll be doing everything yourself — it’s about leading the team to do it well.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Puts staff wellbeing first — you understand that a supported team performs at its best
- Is brilliant with people — approachable, fair and able to build trust quickly
- Brings a calm, steady presence, even under pressure
- Is super organised and efficient — you keep things moving and don’t let things drift
- Can balance multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed
- Leads with positivity and focuses on solutions
- Has an interest in ceremonies and registration (experience is helpful but not essential — we’ll train you)
Most importantly, you understand that your role is to lead how the team feels and performs, not just what the team does.
If you’re someone who cares about people, takes pride in running things well, and wants to be part of a service that really matters — we’d love to hear from you.
You don’t need to tick every box. If you’ve got the right approach, attitude and leadership style, we can teach you the rest.
