About the role
Please Note:
- The basic annual salary advertised of £30,151 to £32,020 will be uplifted by £4,172 to £4,430 with guaranteed hourly enhancements. This will bring the total to £34,323 to £36,450. These amounts also do not include enhancements for weekday morning working or the sleep-in allowance.
- The annual salary advertised does not include the 2023 pay award.
London Road is a Shared and Long Term home for Children and Young People aged 8 to 18 who have a learning or physical disability and or additional health or behavioural needs.
We provide overnight shared and long term care for Children and Young People, in a safe and supportive environment whilst providing a wide variety of stimulating activities and experiences – this includes activities outside of the homes such as the Cinema, Climbing Walls, Bowling, Seaside trips as well as a wide variety of in house activities.

What will you be doing?
As a Team Leader you will be required to support the Registered Manager in the day to day running of the home. The role includes supervision of staff, managing rotas and bookings and overseeing casefiles. As a Team Leader you will be expected to act as a role model by leading and supervising the staff team day-to-day and working alongside them.
About you
We Require:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Residential care home setting
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Equivalent
- Experience leading others including shift leading and supervision
- The ability to work rota providing 24/7 cover and participate in an on-call rota
