About the role

Cambridgeshire County Council’s Children’s Access to Resources Team, is recruiting for a Resource Officer to source, match and initially quality assure placements and services for Children in Care. This post is to cover maternity leave until December 2023. 

We are looking for an excellent communicator and effective negotiator who is committed to working in partnership with all stakeholders to deliver high quality services for children and young people; improve their outcomes and achieve best value.  

The successful candidate should be able to manage competing priorities, within a supportive yet pressured environment and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, both autonomously and as part of a team, and apply a solution focused approach.   

The successful candidate will be able to apply attention to detail, complete accurate and detailed recording and be able to work effectively as part of a team.   

Full training will be given. 

Whilst this is a hybrid role, the expectation will be to work from the office for 3 days a week and 5 days a week during training.
