Cambridgeshire County Council’s Policy & Insight Team provides data, analysis insight and policy expertise to support the operational management and strategic planning of services.

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Analyst (Intelligence) you will lead a small team of Analysts to support the Council’s Children & Families directorate through the provision of data, insight, and analysis.
You will lead on:
- The day-to-day management of the team’s workload
- Dashboard creation using Business Objects and Power BI
- Data provision in support of Ofsted inspections
- National and regional benchmarking
- Annual statutory data return compilation and submission
- Data analysis to support FOI requests
- Ad hoc data provision and analysis for a range of teams within the Children & Families directorate
- Work with other experts within the Policy & Insight Team as well as colleagues from the wider service to support directorate change programmes

About you
Can you help data make a difference?
Are you ambitious, innovative, good with data and passionate about good quality public services? If so, we may have the role you’ve been searching for!
We are after people with strong technical skills and who enjoy extracting and exploring data and have proven analytical and presentation skills.
Successful applicants will be well supported to further develop their subject knowledge and technical skillset to complete complex analysis using Power BI, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Business Objects, Excel and other data manipulation tools.
Interviews will be conducted in the Papworth Office week commencing 24th July
