We are looking for  a  Senior Business Officer to join our team and support the Heads of Service in achieving their goals.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Business Officer, you will be at the heart of our operations, working closely with the Heads of Service to drive efficiency, improve processes, and enhance service delivery. 

Whilst the job description describes line management responsibilities, these posts do not currently have any direct reports, and will report into Business Development Coordinators within Adult's & Safeguarding Services.

About you

You will play an important role in providing professional, proactive, and confidential support to jointly assigned Heads of Service within Adults & Safeguarding and will play a pivotal role in empowering those managers to concentrate on the core priorities of their respective areas to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible.

The roles will involve liaising with senior managers & colleagues; therefore excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to effectively communicate key messages from senior managers in a clear and appropriate way, ensuring that messaging is accurate, concise, and consistent.

The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge of Windows & Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet), and be able to work using their own initiative.

You will need to be self-motivated, organised and flexible, with the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise and forward plan.

You will be able to anticipate and pre-empt challenges and provide solutions with a calm, balanced and positive approach demonstrating good judgement, and you will have the ability to develop strong and effective working relationship with colleagues, stakeholders, and partners of the organisation. 

The successful candidate will also have proven experience & understanding of working with GDPR regulations.
