Senior Business Officer - Youth Justice and Adolescents Team

About the role

We currently have a Full-Time Senior Business Officer Job Opportunity in our Youth Justice Service and Adolescents Team. 

Whilst the role is aligned to the Youth Justice Service and Adolescents Team, the successful candidate will work alongside other Senior Business Officers with opportunities to work across services when required. The role will include supporting workers, team managers, Service managers and Heads of Service with the smooth running of the business and will also be responsible for line managing a team of business officers. 

The successful candidate will support various areas within the Youth Justice Service, such as out of court disposal, court work, harmful sexual behaviour, restorative justice and supporting the Adolescent Team. The successful candidate will work with the police, probation, health, and an array of stakeholders.

There will be a mixture of office and home working for this role. 

The role will be based in Huntingdon but will require the successful candidate to work across the county in our offices based in Huntingdon, Trumpington, Wisbech and Ely to support the business officers based at these offices.

Interviews will be held in Huntingdon week commencing the 23rd October 2023

About you

The successful candidate must have excellent knowledge of Windows & Microsoft packages (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint), and would benefit from having experience of supervising staff. You will need to be self motivated, organised and flexible, with the ability to manage your own workload, prioritise and forward plan. We are also looking for someone who has great attention to detail and who can streamline and develop processes within the service. The successful candidate will also have proven experience and understanding of working within GDPR regulations.
