What will you be doing?
The Senior Business Officer role is varied and dynamic. You will communicate with a vast range of stakeholders and colleagues at all levels to ensure effective service provision to all of our customers.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality administrative support to operational teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Line-managing a small team of Business Officers, overseeing their daily activities and workloads and undertaking regular 1:1 supervision
- Providing key support and co-ordination to current projects across the service
- Working closely with other Senior Business Officer across the wider directorate to ensure consistency in our practices
- Support changes that impact the Business Support workforce and provide advice to service/team managers and their teams

About you
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of all Windows and Microsoft packages
- An organised approach with the ability and drive to manage your workload, prioritise and forward plan
- Brilliant customer service skills and the ability to create and sustain strong working relationships with all of our stakeholders
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and first-rate communication skills to enable you to support managers and colleagues and represent the service in a positive and professional manner
- Exceptional team-working skills, with the ability to professionally influence and lead others and be willing to share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues
- A can-do attitude and a flexible approach to your working pattern
