About the role
Looking for a fast-paced job that will keep you on your toes? We’re looking for an experienced Social Work professional to join us and support the MASH to run smoothly.
You'll be in charge of sticking to the MASH core elements:
- All notifications relating to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children to go through the hub.
- Co-location of professionals from core agencies to research, interpret and determine what is proportionate and relevant to share.
- The MASH activity is confidential and separate from operational activity and providing a confidential record system of activity to support this.
- An agreed process for analysing and assessing risk, based on the fullest information picture and dissemination of a suitable information product to the most appropriate agency for necessary action.
- A process to identify victims and emerging harm through research and analysing.
Your day-to-day involves overseeing the MASH operations, projects, and initiatives. You'll be the go-to person for making sure our collaboration with other agencies is positive and effective. If there are any issues, you'll step in, challenge, support, and educate our partners to meet our standards.
You'll also be the brains behind developing the analytical side of MASH. This means figuring out who in the community needs our help the most, who might be a risk, and where we need to focus our attention.
Working closely with other leaders, you'll sort out any issues affecting MASH performance. And it's crucial that you represent the MASH well – be it with our team, partners, elected members, or other authorities.
We need someone who can keep our MASH running well, build strong partnerships, ensure high standards, and contribute to the strategic development of our analytical function. Oh, and doing all this while being the friendly face of MASH in a range of different professional settings!
