About the role

The Learning Disability Partnership is seeking a bright, talented, and dynamic individual to fill the role of Service Manager.

The focus of the role is to work in collaboration to develop, improve and create opportunities for innovation across our existing services and teams, ensuring a positive experience for those we support and those we work with.

Cambridgeshire County Council has adopted a new approach to social work and social care to make it increasingly proactive, preventative, and personalised. Transforming Lives is a three-tier approach to working with individuals, carers, and families that consider holistic, creative solutions to enable individuals meet their aspirations through the care and support planning process.

The Learning Disability Partnership can offer flexibility and are currently working to a hybrid model, with part-remote and flexible options available in line with our service needs.

About you

You will be motivated to be part of this. You will provide strong, supportive oversight of quality of practice and evidence of outcomes for people we support and be ready to give a good account of what we are doing well, where we need to improve and develop and deliver on plans to achieve this.

You will be either a health or social care qualified professional. Ideally you have a wealth of experience in integrated services. As a result of your experience, you will have outstanding interpersonal skills and will be able to lead  health and social care staff as well as work effectively with our partner organisations.

You will be a creative and inspirational leader who those in your service are motivated to follow. You will form part of our Learning Disability Partnership Leadership Team and will have the opportunity to influence and implement real and positive change within the service.
