About the role
An exciting opportunity to work with a team who offer advice, guidance and interventions to social care staff, children and foster carers.
Specialist clinicians work alongside our social care colleagues to support children and young people who are looked after to offer consultation, advice and a range of interventions to support the emotional well-being of the child/ren.
Clinical supervision, opportunities for training and CPD offered as well as generous annual leave.

What will you be doing?
Undertaking consultations and assessments using a trauma informed approach and attachment theory.
Producing consultation letters with recommendations and psychological formulation. Meeting with carers and children and attending meetings.
This role has no line management responsibilities.
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Flexi-working patterns and hybrid work from home are available.
About you
Successful candidates will have a professional registration with the BACP, NMC, SWE or HCPC and have undertaken additional training or Qualifications in attachment theory (DDP), counselling, EMDR, systemic therapy would be desirable.
Must have experience working with children and families (at least two years) in a mental health, counselling or social care setting.
