About the role
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Teacher who has the knowledge and ability to carry out a leading and coordinating role in relation to managing the cases of children with complex special educational needs.

What will you be doing?
You will be part of a team of experienced Specialist Teachers, Specialist Practitioners and Educational Psychologists who work closely together and support each other to improve the outcomes for children, families and setting professionals. The team also promotes the development of close links with schools, families, partner teams and services, with other agencies and with the voluntary sector.
The role involves the management of a diverse and challenging caseload and overseeing the work of Specialist Practitioners. The role will require County-wide travel with an office base in Wisbech. Cambridgeshire County Council is committed to offering a variety of ways of working following flexible options supporting colleagues in offices and remote working.
This position which is a full time (Monday to Friday)
About you
You will be an outstanding qualified teacher with experience of supporting children with a range of SEND needs. You will have a broad range of relevant experience and a strong CPD record. You will need to have extensive knowledge and experience of working with early years settings and or primary schools providing advice and guidance to teachers and teaching assistants; promoting a culture of inclusion. You will be able to work both independently and jointly with other professionals and have the confidence and knowledge to deliver training and give advice to settings. A keen interest in SEND and a proactive approach to research and developing yourself through CPD is essential. The ability to work autonomously to prioritise work and meet deadlines is key along with good organisation and interpersonal skills.
