What will you be doing?

We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and enthusiastic Support Worker based at Horizon Resource Centre in Cambridge.  These positions will involve supporting adults with learning disabilities in the community and in the day service. 

Support Workers will assist service users with all aspects of their care, with an emphasis on providing activities and empowering them to maintain their independence and well-being. A good understanding of equal opportunities, person centred approach and diversity are all essential. 

Support Workers will be in regular contact with service users, families, carers, other professionals, and partner agencies; therefore, the role will require you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with a sensitive and professional approach.
