About the role
Are you an experienced Team Manager, or interested in the opportunity to progress, with a background in Adult Social Care?
Due to an internal move, we have an opportunity for a permanent, full time, Team Manager in our adult social care community service, within the ‘East Adult Social Care Community Team’.
Our Community Teams are currently working to a hybrid model, with part-remote and flexible options available in line with our service needs. The successful candidate will be based at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely, and will be expected to work in the office for 2 to 3 days per week.
The team support adults over the age of 18 who have physical disabilities, and older people, alongside their families and informal carers. The team works closely with our health and social care partner organisations and are involved in a number of projects to promote community focused work to transform care provisions in East Cambs. We are proud to be involved in a 3 year project to change the way the Local Authority commissions support to enable people to remain in the community for longer. This includes the development of Individual Service Funds and preventative work with local health colleagues and community based agencies.
The service welcomes applicants from a varied background as all social work backgrounds and skills are relevant and transferable to the service for those with an interest in developing new skills and knowledge around disability, complex needs and leadership.
For more information, or an informal discussion, please contact Karen West on 07824 596 531 or Aileen Stanford on 07776 679 563.
Closing Date 12th December 2023. Interviews will be held in person on 21st December 2023.
