Team Manager - Learning Disability Partnership

About the role

We are an integrated health and social care service for adults with learning disabilities, enabling a multi-disciplinary approach to supporting individuals.   

We have two part time (30 hours) Team Manager posts available:

  • South Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) based in Papworth.
  • East Learning Disability Partnership based at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely.

We have embraced new ways of working enabling staff to have a flexible and hybrid approach to working from home and the office.  We also understand the value to being with your team in person and the support this brings.

Interviews will be held in person week commencing 16th October and will include the requirement for a short, (maximum 10 minutes) PowerPoint presentation.

What will you be doing?

You will be leading and managing a team of dedicated and highly skilled professionals managing complex cases within community and institutional settings. With solid legal literacy and strong communication skills the individuals will work alongside other dedicated managers, developing a network of support and resilience within the service.

You'll need a keen eye for detail as you'll be leading on delivering service outcomes, as well as being involved in the application of national and local initiatives.

We will give you opportunities to lead on service development workstreams and offer professional development opportunities.

About you

The successful candidates will be energetic and motivated health or social care professionals with a commitment to excellence in practice. 

We are looking for confident and dynamic individuals who enjoy making a difference, building relationships and can successfully lead an integrated team.

You must:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration or equivalent health qualification
  • Have proven knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Care and Health policy and practice in relation to the provision of services.
  • Have the ability to work from a variety of locations and travel countywide independently
