About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Team Manager to work within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based at Police Headquarters, Hinchingbrooke.
The post cover Cambridgeshire County Council and is co-located with the partner agencies within the Integrated Front Door Service. MASH works closely with the Customer Service Centre who receives all referral and alerts the MASH.
To be successful in this role you will have strong leadership skills and will have relevant experience working in Social Care. You will be overseeing multi agency enquires, using verbal and written communication skills to engage with MASH workers and partner agencies to apply thresholds for intervention and to analyse level of risk. You will be able to demonstrate that you can think creatively in delivering targeted support, will have a significant level of knowledge and experience in children's social care, understanding thresholds and will have proven experience in managing a team. This role will include work allocation, performance monitoring, dealing with staffing issues and the training and development of the Team.
You will be joining a highly effective and supportive team which is made up of both social care qualified and alternatively qualified staff co located with Health, Police, Adult MASH, Early Help and Education colleagues as well as a number of virtual partners. This post is hybrid days in the office and days working from home. We pride ourselves on providing all workers in the MASH with a friendly, safe, and supportive environment to work in.

- Be a qualified Social Worker with a Social Work England registration
