Technical & Solutions Architect

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious person to join our team within our IT & Digital Services Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex technical solutions using elements of Enterprise Architecture frameworks.

This role will also be responsible for the technical architecture of the EastNet Wide Area Network. EastNet is a partnership of local authorities in the East managing over 600 corporate network connections and 1,400 public/corporate Wi-Fi devices. The role will work closely with the EastNet Contract and Service Manager to provide advice or manage partner wide projects, act as a central point of escalation for all partners and to help shape the future architecture of EastNet.
