About the role
We currently have a 12 month fixed term vacancy for a Young People’s Worker within the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley District Early Help Team.
The position is full time, 37 hours per week and we are looking for someone who can provide both intensive 1:1 support and group interventions for vulnerable young people in their homes, schools and community places across St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley.

What will you be doing?
The role of YPW is to:
- Be part of the Youth Support Service within the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley District Team, focusing on delivering services for young people.
- Use a holistic and family centred approach to carry out assessments of young people’s needs.
- Plan and deliver targeted group work in partnership with schools and community organisations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records on relevant case management systems.
- Create opportunities and promote young people’s participation in the development, review, and implementation of services that they receive.
- Develop excellent working relationships with local schools and communities to develop support for young people across the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley District.
About you
We are looking for a highly committed, enthusiastic, and hardworking professional who will be part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team supporting families throughout St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley.
Candidates must be willing and able to travel across the St Neots, Ramsey, Sawtry and Yaxley District.
