Adults Social Care Service Manager - Localities

About the role

As a Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our adult social care services across our locality social care teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care that meets the diverse needs of our community. You will oversee the operational management of services, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and drive continuous improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

Interviews will be held on 1st May, and will be in person at New Shire Hall in Alconbury Weald.

What will you be doing?

You will manage risk proactively, ensuring that all services are safe, effective, and responsive to the needs of people. 

As a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England (SWE), you will bring your professional expertise and commitment to uphold the highest standards of practice.

About you

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for adult social care and a commitment to making a positive impact. 

You should have a proven track record in managing social care services, with strong leadership and practice knowledge. Your ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including people, families, staff, and external partners, will be key to your success in this role.

You will have extensive experience in social care management, preferably within adult social care.

You'll need a strong understanding of statutory responsibilities and best practices in social care.

You must have excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
