About the role
Following allocation of some additional targeted funding the Adult Social Care Commissioning Team are looking to appoint a Commissioner for a 1 year period who will work across projects which support hospital discharge, both directly and indirectly. The post is available as a Fixed Term Contract, or as a Secondment, to internal applicants.
The post would be based at Stanton House, but the team work flexibly from home and office locations. Some travel will be required across the county.

What will you be doing?
Working across a number of strategic priorities and commissioning programmes linked to discharge, the role includes independent management of elements of the commissioning process in order to help deliver innovative approaches and solutions which will positively impact on discharge.
About you
The right candidates will have:
- A proven ability to identify and lead the development and implementation of transformation strategies to deliver the strategic priorities of the department
- Experience of successfully managing and delivering a range of projects simultaneously
- Excellent networking skills and ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver complex change programmes
- Understanding of the pressures and opportunities facing local authorities and the adult social care market in Cambridgeshire.
- Good communication skills and ability to present information in a variety of mediums.
- Ability to collect, interpret and clearly present data.
