What will you be doing?
Job Opportunity: Coproduction Facilitator (Domestic Abuse) – Female Only
This role is subject to an occupational requirement for the postholder to be female, and therefore applications for this role are limited to females accordingly.
This is a requirement for the role as domestic abuse is recognised as a highly gendered issue, and the successful candidate will play a crucial role working with survivors in gender specific and, or gender limited settings, such as women-only support groups and, or spaces.
Are you passionate about making services better for people subjected to domestic abuse?
Do you have lived experience of domestic abuse and want to use your voice to help others?
We are looking for a female Coproduction Facilitator to help improve services for people who have experienced domestic abuse. You don’t need to have worked in a council or office before — we’re looking for someone who understands what it’s like and wants to make a difference.
What you’ll do:
- Work with people who have experienced domestic abuse to gather their views.
- Help make sure their voices are heard by people who run services.
- Build trusted relationships with people from all walks of life.
- Speak up for what needs to change to make services better.
- Talk to senior staff in councils and other organisations to share ideas and feedback.
About you
What we’re looking for:
- A woman with lived experience of domestic abuse.
- Someone who can listen and communicate clearly.
- Someone who cares about helping others and improving services.
- Someone who can work well with different people, including professionals.
- You don’t need formal qualifications — your experience and passion are what matter most.
Support and training:
We will provide training and support to help you feel confident in the role. You’ll be part of a team that values your experience and wants to help you grow.
Interviews will be in person on the 16th or 18th September at Scott House 5, George Street Huntingdon PE293AD
If you have any questions about the role please contact Marie Ludlam on 07769366202 or email marie.ludlam@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
